The Soft Wool blanket is a unique product on the market. It was made by master weavers using a 90-year-old loom in a small factory in Poland. Not only the traditional weaving method but also the finishing method is worth attention - each blanket is hand-fringed. Yes! The hands of one person are responsible for twisting the fringes in our Soft Wool blankets. This is a phenomenon in the production of home textiles on a global scale.
The highest quality New Zealand wool and the traditional production process mean that the blanket, despite being woolen, is thick, fleshy and very soft to the touch .
The Soft Wool blanket is the perfect addition to your home interior design. For the bedroom - as a bedspread or an additional layer on the duvet - for the sofa in the living room, a chair on the terrace or for the summer house. It is very practical and fulfills its heating function when we need comfort during colder days, evenings and nights. It combines great design with the highest quality of workmanship. It is cozy, fluffy and pleasant to the touch (we emphasize that it is 100% wool, by writing "nice" we describe our subjective impressions as wool lovers).
Why New Zealand wool? New Zealand and Australia are leading producers of wool, which is considered the best in the world due to its high quality. New Zealand sheep, due to extreme weather conditions (over 30* in summer and approx. -30 in winter), have developed abilities over the years that allow them to survive these extreme temperatures, which is why their wool has incredible thermoregulatory properties . In winter, it retains heat that your body gives off, and in summer it provides a pleasant coolness and at the same time gives off unnecessary heat and moisture to the outside, so that the blanket does not overheat and the skin does not sweat under it. Wool is an antibacterial and antistatic fiber. Thanks to the presence of lanolin, which provides sheep with protection against external pollution, wool yarn cleans itself, does not absorb dirt or dust, does not absorb odors. New Zealand wool is hypoallergenic , is great for allergy sufferers, and also has healing properties.

FAQ
Does wool feel itchy?
Not all wool feels the same.
Merino wool is known for being exceptionally soft, and alpaca wool is even gentler. Our blankets are made from classic New Zealand sheep's wool, carefully processed to make them as soft and comfortable as possible. That said, wool is a natural material with its own character, and it might not be for everyone — which is perfectly fine.
If you have particularly sensitive skin, our heavyweight 600 GSM cotton blankets might be a better fit. But promise us you'll give wool a chance first. You might end up loving it as much as we do.
Does wool pill?
Like all-natural wool, pilling can occur over time and is a normal characteristic of the fibre. In fact, it's often a sign that the yarn is natural and free from synthetic additives.
To keep your blanket looking its best, air it regularly, give it a good shake from time to time, and occasionally use a wool brush.
Does it make a good gift?
Absolutely. A wedding gift, birthday present, Christmas surprise, housewarming gift, Mother's Day, Grandparents' Day... you name it.We're pretty confident it'll become one of the most-loved things in the house.

New Zealand, alongside Australia, is one of the world's leading wool-producing regions. Thanks to its exceptional quality, New Zealand wool is widely regarded as some of the finest in the world.
The sheep that produce it live in an environment of extremes, with summer temperatures rising above 30°C and winter temperatures dropping as low as -30°C. Over generations, they've adapted to these changing conditions, developing fleece with remarkable natural performance.
